  • GC, Sprinter, Hill Climber Contests

    Best Sprinter and Best Hill Climber contests have been added for 2010. The Best Sprinter will be determined by points earned during two intermediate sprints and the final sprint of the Circuit race AND by points earned at the end of lap one in the Road Race.

    The Best Hill Climber will be determined by points earned during two intermediate sprints and the bell lap at the top of Stillman Hill Road of the Circuit race AND by points earned at the same location during lap two of the Road Race.

  • Pasta Dinner Saturday Night at Camp Jewel

    The CSR and YMCA Camp Jewel are teaming up dishing out a pasta dinner after Saturday's racing. Alan Grant, of Digital Creations Photography, will project a slide show of race activities.  Join other racing hobbiests for get together. Details (e.g. time, cost, menu, etc.) to follow.

  • Women's Only P/1/2/3 Field

    A Women's ONLY field has been added to the 2010 CSR AND the prize money matches that of the Men's race. The largest women's only prize purse in New England.

  • Circuit Race Length Increases

    In 2009, all Circuit Races were the same length, 8 laps totaling approximately 24.8 miles.

    In 2010, the Women's & Cat 4 Circuit race will be 8 laps totaling 24.8 miles; the Cat 3 & M 40/50 Circuit race will be 10 laps totaling 31 miles; and the P/1/2 Circuit Race will be 14 laps totaling 43.4 miles.

  • Early Registration Pick-Up at Camp Jewel

    Rider race bibs and event waiver forms are available for anxious riders and those staying the YMCA Camp Jewel on the Friday night before the ITT.

  • Team Cars in Caravan

    IF three, or more, riders race in one race category, THEN they qualify as a Team and are allowed to a Team Car in the Race Caravan (Circuit and Road Races). Team Cars may provide mechanical services and water, not food. Team Cars must be identified on the front and rear windshields. Team Cars must be in radio contact with the Race Official AND must have a Service Vehicle Yellow Flasher mounted on the roof.

  • Awards at the Starting Line of Following Event

    Leader Jersey presentations will be conducted at the Starting Line of the following race. For example, the top three ITT finishers will be presented at the Starting Line of the Circuit Race.

  • Neutral Water from Official's Vehicle

    January 24, 2010

    Riders may drop back to the passenger side of the Official's car and exchange an empty cycling water bottle for a full cycling water bottle. Food may only be exchanged within the designated Feed Zones.

  • General Classification Time Bonuses for 2010

    Circuit Race, Intermediate Bonuses 1 and 2 shall award 10, 7, 5, 3, 1 seconds time bonuses to be counted toward General Classification. The Finish Line shall award 15, 10, 5, 3, 1 seconds time bonuses to be counted toward General Classification.

    Road Race, Intermediate Bonuses 1 at the end of Loop 1 shall award 10, 7, 5, 3, 1 seconds time bonuses to be counted toward General Classification. The Finish Line shall award 15, 10, 5, 3, 1 seconds time bonuses to be counted toward General Classification.

  • Feed Zone 1 Extension

    The Start of Feed Zone 1 remains unchanged. The End of Feed Zone 1 has been extended southerly and up the hill on Route 8.

  • Registration at Town Hall Basement

    Pre-Registration is required and ends on the Saturday preceding the race. Riders may sign the Event Waiver and pick-up Race Bib No.s 1) Friday evening at YMCA Camp Jewel or 2) Saturday morning at the Town Hall Basement

  • Caravans line up on School House Road

    January 23, 2010

    Circuit and Road Race vehicle caravans shall line up on School House Road. Vehicles in the caravan must coordinate with the Race Official and demonstrate 1) proper vehicle team identification 2) roof-top mounted yellow flasher 3) radio communication with the Race Official.
